CHARLOTTE DIAMOND IN CONCERT
Charlotte Diamond, Canada’s First Lady of Children’s Music will present a one hour concert.
Charlotte’s 12 recordings have been honored with four Parent’s Choice awards and three American Library Association Awards. Her CD, “10 Carrot” Diamond received the prestigious June Award for Best Children’s recording.

PERCEPTIVE LISTENING
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17, 10:00 a.m. Develop Perceptive Listeners through a Dynamic Series of Piano Activities. Led by Cindy Tseng, a Southern California piano educator, this workshop will present stimulating activities designed to develop critical listening skills, build aural and visual knowledge of musical elements and tap into students’ imagination. Ms. Tseng received her M.M. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Northwestern University. She graduated Cum Laude from UCLA with a B. A. in Piano Performance. She will present this workshop at the 2010 MTNA National Conference. Free of charge to private and group teachers; space reservations recommended.

SATURDAY, MAY 1, 10:00-6:00 p.m. AMUSE celebrates spring with a musical feast of activities. Sample our many group music education offerings with free participation in early childhood music, piano, guitar, strings, woodwinds and brass classes. Check out our immensely popular Instrument Petting Zoo offering hands on experiences with string, brass and woodwind instruments. Enjoy live music presented by our student and professional musicians.
